Vacation rentals works for boats, too!

Nothing is better than staying at someone else's home away from home. whether it's Airbnb, VRBO, or a regular hotel room. But while you can pack all of your comfy clothing, shoes, outerwear, etc. into your bags, you can't always pack your boat.

If your vacation involves flying, you obviously can't take your kayak. And even though you could car-top, there's the added stress of having your boats stolen or damaged during the trip. You definitely can't go into a parking deck, and on a long trip your loss of fuel efficiency can mean that your travel budget takes an extra hit as you lose 4-5 mpg due to air friction.

Our solution? Leave your boats at home and rent while you're on vacation. Boats get delivered to you and you don't have to worry about all the other logistics. (but if you have a favorite PFD there's usually room to stash that in the car)

If you have water access at your rental, a multi-day rental may be ideal for your stay. Have the boats delivered to you and take them out when you want. At the end of the rental period you no longer have to think about taking care of them.

Generally a multi-day rental is more economical than a single day rental, so if you have a safe place to store the boats at your rental, you can get a lot more bang for your buck, and not have to worry about when to have the boat back at the landing by any particular time (except the last day, when the boats need to be returned!)

If you don't have water access, arranging a meetup time to rent your boats (or take a tour if you're unfamiliar with the area) and after your trip you don't have to deal with packing the boats up, rinsing, cleaning, and all of the other parts of ownership that keep you from enjoying your vacation.

If you're looking for a multi-day rental, with or without a tour package, Masonboro Paddle Company is ready to assist with your custom itinerary. We promise we can give you the best rate around, provide boats that match your skill level, from rec boats to touring models, and we'll take them back when your rental period ends!
